Job summary

OU Medicine's Pulmonology Clinic is seeking an RN Program Coordinator to support ambulatory care for pulmonary hypertension patients, coordinating referrals, medication starts with pharmacy, and research activities.

The role collaborates with physicians and staff to advance toward Center of Excellence accreditation and to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: RN I 0–3 years; RN II 3–5 years.
• License/Certification: RN license (OK) or eNLC; BLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and nursing standards.
• Manages assigned patient care and clinic flow.
• Documents patient responses to interventions and physician orders.
• Assists physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Obtains and monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed.
• Administers medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Coordinates referrals and communicates care plans.
• Supports professional development and collaborative care initiatives.
