Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Ambulatory RN Coordinator for the Pulmonology Clinic to support pulmonary hypertension patients. The role involves coordinating referrals, medication starts with the pharmacy, clinical research collaboration, and monitoring patient care with physicians.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 0-3 years for RN I; 3-5 years for RN II.
• Current RN license (OK or eNLC) and BLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals for advanced treatments and communicate with the pharmacy team on med starts.
• Monitor patients and document responses to treatments and physician orders.
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor procedures.
• Provide counseling on vasodilator medications and care plans.
• Support movement toward Center of Excellence accreditation for pulmonary hypertension.
