Job summary

The Registered Nurse role provides advanced nursing care to patients with complex conditions across multiple care settings, collaborating with physicians and the medical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include health assessments, ordering and interpreting tests, developing treatment plans, and discharge planning, with emphasis on patient education and quality improvement. Ohio RN license with prescriptive authority (or eligibility) is required; this is a full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing is preferred.
• Ohio RN licensure with NP certification or eligibility.
• Prescriptive authority or eligibility per Ohio Board of Nursing; ACLS/PALS may be required.
• Active medical staff credentialing and privileges required.
• Current BLS certification required; MSN/DNP pursuit if not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to patients with acute, critical, and chronic conditions.
• Care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
• Monitor high-acuity patients requiring continuous nursing care.
• Participate in quality monitoring and patient outcomes review.
• Collaborate with the medical team focusing on health promotion.
• Document progress notes and discharge planning; develop treatment plans.
• Assist with credentialing and discharge planning as required.
• Serve as a resource for staff and residents.
