Job summary
Infinite Medical P.C. in Worcester, MA is seeking a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a part-time role to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in long-term care settings.
The successful candidate will perform assessments, diagnose and treat pulmonary conditions, and educate patients. A Master’s in Nursing and an unrestricted NP/PA license are required, with local travel to facilities averaging 100% involvement.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted NP/PA/Physician license.
- DEA License.
- CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
- Must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Local Travel 100% required.
- Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- A year of experience in Pulmonology or respiratory care.
- Prefer experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC).
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical assessments of patients with pulmonary conditions.
- Diagnose and treat respiratory illnesses (asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies (inhalers, antibiotics, rehab programs).
- Educate patients and families on disease management and adherence.
- Perform diagnostic procedures (spirometry, chest X-rays, ABG).
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed.
