Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a friendly Pulmonology NP/PA to support patients in the PHM program. The role involves comprehensive respiratory care, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders, with travel to multiple nursing homes within the designated region.

Requirements include an active NP/PA/Physician license, DEA, CPR, and a Master’s in Nursing, plus pulmonology experience. A flexible schedule and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP/PA/Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited NP program.
• Experience in Pulmonology or respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions.
• Diagnose and treat respiratory illnesses (asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies (inhalers, antibiotics, pulmonary rehab).
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle changes.
• Perform spirometry, chest X-rays, arterial blood gas analysis.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Travel regularly to nursing homes within the region for on-site care.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits.
