Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant - Pulmonary in Elmhurst, IL to support clinical staff during examinations and lab procedures. The role includes front-line patient prep, specimen collection, phlebotomy and routine diagnostics under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, AHA CPR certification and a valid driver's license. Some travel to other locations and rotating shifts may be required as part of full-time duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, prepares patients for examination, obtains specimens, conducts routine lab tests and records results, and performs phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as directed by a physician.
