Job summary

Midwest Physicians Administrative Services, LLC dba Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL seeks a Medical Assistant to join the Pulmonary Medicine team. Duties include patient check-in, vital signs, and assisting physicians during exams and minor procedures.

The role supports immunizations, lab testing, and prescription coordination, with travel to other local clinics as needed. Competitive benefits and a community-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
• Active medical assistant certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA required.
• CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required.
• Phlebotomy certification may be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Prior experience as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2 years in a medical office assisting with patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections.
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values.
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
