Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in Milwaukee is seeking a Medical Assistant for a part-time role (0.6 FTE) with roughly 24 hours per week, on first shift. The position supports providers, greets patients, and helps ensure a compassionate, efficient care experience daily.

Responsibilities include vital signs, histories, exam prep, procedure assistance, medication administration, lab tasks, and EHR documentation. Phlebotomy is preferred; HS diploma or MA diploma/experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Accredited Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience within past five years required.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and support providers on a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, part-time (~24 hours/week).
• Take and record vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist clinicians during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
