Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care teams at the Milwaukee campus. The role involves assisting providers, welcoming patients, and ensuring a compassionate, efficient patient experience.

With a Monday–Friday 1st shift schedule, the position offers 40 hours per week and a competitive $21.85–$32.80 hourly pay range. Benefits eligible and opportunities for growth are highlighted in the AMGs total rewards program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Accredited medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience within the past five years.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs and medical histories.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver coordinated care.
