Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL seeks a Respiratory Care professional to perform pulmonary function testing and related laboratory duties in a high-quality care setting. The role requires clinical competence with pulmonary function equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with physicians during bronchoscopy procedures.

A licensed Respiratory Care graduate with experience is preferred, with benefits including comprehensive coverage and professional development

Qualifications

CRT license/registration required; RRT preferred; BLS required.
Graduation from a 1-year accredited Respiratory Care program.
Minimum of 2 years pulmonary function testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform quality pulmonary function studies following guidelines.
Demonstrates knowledge of all equipment used in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory.
Interprets results of pulmonary function tests for accuracy and patient cooperation.
Performs daily quality checks on equipment and logs maintenance.
Assists physicians during bronchoscopy per established guidelines.
Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures proper expiration dates.
Enter charges accurately in the computer daily and cost-effectively use resources.
