Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field or equivalent.
• Proficiency in pulmonary function testing equipment and cardiac monitoring.
• Ability to interpret ECG rhythms and communicate results to the medical team.
• Knowledge of infectious disease control and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient hemodynamic, ECG, and exercise responses to determine appropriate testing intensity.
• Maintains testing equipment and adheres to safety and infection control standards.
• Completes billing records within departmental standards.
• Collaborates with physicians to determine appropriate testing procedures for respiratory disease assessment.
• Identifies changes in patient condition and responds appropriately.
• Utilizes computerized and paper systems for medical records and pulmonary databases.
• Participates in quality assurance activities and assists in training new staff.
