Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team on the Day Shift. You will perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas analysis for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, ensuring quality and timely reporting.

AAS in Respiratory Care and 2–3 years of experience, plus credentials, are required; benefits start day one and full-time 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associate in Science Degree in Respiratory Care required.
• Two to three years of experience in respiratory care.
• Certified respiratory technician or certified pulmonary technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analyses.
• Assess patient readiness and test feasibility.
• Ensure quality standards before testing.
• Prepare accurate, timely reports.
• Maintain clean, safe lab area; disinfect/sterilize equipment.
