Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a part-time Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join its Pulmonary Laboratory team. The role supports diagnostic pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy assistance, and conscious sedation under supervision of the Respiratory Care leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care required; bachelor's preferred.
• Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support) preferred
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) required within 6 months of hire
• Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish highly desired

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services, provides diagnostic pulmonary function procedures, bronchoscopy assist, conscious sedation, setup and interpretation of neo/peds event records, sweat chloride testing, and functions as a Respiratory Care Practitioner II as needed.

Pay Range: $30.99 - $50.71 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range buy may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
