Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist to support the PFT labs and satellite clinics.

The role includes performing spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion, ABG, six-minute walk, and related studies, with involvement in research projects and Epic workflow. Ideal candidates hold MA license, RRT, AS in Respiratory Therapy (BS preferred), and BLS; 1–3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license as Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• AS in Respiratory Therapy required, BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pulmonary Function Tests (spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion).
• Conduct ABG punctures and related studies; ensure quality results.
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns to ensure accurate testing.
