Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist to support the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. The role involves performing pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas sampling, and related respiratory care services across main and satellite labs.

The ideal candidate holds an active Massachusetts respiratory license, is a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and has 1–3 years of experience or is a recent graduate.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• 1-3 years’ experience preferred; recent graduates considered.
• BLS certification; ACLS desired.
• CPFT/RPFT desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs Pulmonary Function Tests and ABG punctures.
• Maintains PFT Lab policies; assists with policy development.
• Schedules PFT-related areas across main lab and satellite clinics.
• Explains procedures and supports patient understanding and comfort.
