This high-visibility leadership role oversees Pulmonary Function Laboratories, ambulatory testing programs, and outpatient respiratory services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• 8+ years in a RT leadership role.
• 5+ years in Pulmonary Function Testing, ambulatory respiratory services, or respiratory therapy operations.
• Knowledge of pulmonary diagnostics, blood gas analysis, respiratory equipment, and outpatient respiratory workflows.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, CLIA, CAP, DPH, and other regulatory/accreditation requirements.
• Experience with staff onboarding, competency validation, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across the health system.

This highly visible leadership position oversees Pulmonary Function Laboratories, ambulatory respiratory testing programs, and outpatient respiratory services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care.

As a strategic leader, you'll guide multidisciplinary teams, champion process improvement initiatives, support program expansion, and help shape the future of pulmonary care delivery across UCLA Health. You'll partner closely with physicians, nursing leadership, clinical engineering, infection prevention, and operational teams to create seamless, high-quality experiences for both patients and staff.

Salary Range: $119,700 - $272,700/annually

Qualifications
