Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Registered Pulmonary Technologist for a full-time, day shift role. You will perform pulmonary diagnostic testing, assist with bronchoscopy procedures, and help ensure accurate results and quality control of equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with pulmonary function testing and interpretation.
• Ability to assist with bronchoscopy procedures.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist with BLS required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing and completing pulmonary function testing, including stress testing
• Troubleshooting, calibrating, and performing quality control on PFT analyzers
• Drawing and analyzing arterial blood gases
• Assisting physicians with bronchoscopy procedures
• Supporting bronchoscopy procedures, including SD, EBUS, and robotic systems
• Assisting with monthly quality assurance (QA) reporting
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation of testing and patient results
