Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Registered Pulmonary Technologist for a Downtown PRN shift. The role performs pulmonary diagnostic testing and supports physicians in respiratory evaluation and treatment. You will handle PFTs, ABG analysis, and assist with bronchoscopy including advanced robotic systems.

Qualified candidates hold FL RT license, BLS; AS is preferred and ACLS/PALS/NRP are a plus. This is a flexible, on-site position focused on safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Certificate as Respiratory Therapist in Florida is required.
• AS degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• FL licensed RT DOH is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function testing (PFT) including stress testing.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform quality control on PFT analyzers.
• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases.
• Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures.
• Support bronchoscopy procedures including SD, EBUS, and robotics.
• Assist with monthly QA reporting and maintain testing records.
