Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join the St. George Regional Hospital team in Utah. The role combines pulmonary clinic duties, consults, and ICU coverage in a 32-bed unit.

Qualified candidates will have an MD/DO, Internal Medicine residency, and board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care, with an active Utah license and DEA. A full credentialing process is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Physician in Pulmonary Critical Care medicine within a 32-bed ICU.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide care for critically ill patients.
• Mix of pulmonary clinic, pulmonary consults, and ICU shifts (1,825 hours annually, 1.0 FTE).

About this role

As a Physician in Pulmonary Critical Care medicine you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will be an integral member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team caring for complex, critically ill patients in a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

In this role you can anticipate:

• Practicing at St. George Regional Hospital allocated in St. George, Utah.
• A mix of pulmonary clinic, pulmonary consults, and ICU shifts; 1,825 hours annually (1.0 FTE)
• 32-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU, caring for general surgery, trauma (Level II ASC Trauma Hospital Accreditation), cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and medical patients

• Incentives: $30,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable)
