Job summary

Piedmont is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pulmonary Critical Care team in Georgia. The role involves managing critically ill adults in ICU, CCU, and CVICU settings with oversight by physicians.

You will lead clinical care, perform procedures, and contribute to patient outcomes through evidence-based practice. The position requires GA APRN or PA licensure, strong critical thinking, and the ability to work night and rotating shifts in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with Georgia license.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services for critically ill adults within institutional guidelines.
• Obtains patient histories and performs physical exams.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and explains procedures to patients and families.
• Performs therapeutic/diagnostic procedures and collects samples.
• Performs CPR, airway management, and ACLS-compliant interventions.
• Manages arterial/central lines and related devices under physician direction.
• Educates patients and staff on monitoring and use of equipment.
• Develops and implements treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
