OU Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory II for the Medicine Clinic in Oklahoma City. The role supports patient care in an ambulatory setting, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe nursing care.

This position emphasizes adherence to OU Health values and ongoing professional development. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, 3+ years of RN experience, and an active RN license (OK) or eNLC,

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
3+ years of experience in patient care as an RN.
Current RN license (OK State Board of Nursing) or valid multi-state compact (eNLC) RN license; Basic Life Support (AHA) required on hire; specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Align behaviors with OU Health values and nursing professional practice standards.
Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and physician orders.
Assists physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures; progresses to more complex procedures.
Obtains and monitors physiological data; intervenes as needed; administers medications as prescribed.
Delivers patient care competently; coordinates care and discharges with the care team.
Delegates tasks to clinical support staff as needed; communicates with families about care plans.
