Job summary

Aurora Medical Group, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time ambulatory care role in South Milwaukee, WI. The position supports providers, greets patients, and helps ensure smooth, compassionate care within a primary care setting.

Clinic float, Monday–Friday, 7am–6:30pm, no weekends or holidays. Competitive pay ranges $21.85–$36.15 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• LPN or MA credential required to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required within 45 days unless exempt.
• Prior ambulatory/primary care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs and health histories.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
