Pearl Healthcare in North Aurora, IL is seeking a Pulmonary Treatment Specialist (RN/LPN) to join our dedicated team. The role includes leading nursing assistants, coordinating shift services, and ensuring high-quality resident care.

No prior pulmonary experience is required as training will be provided; candidates should possess a current Illinois Nursing License and strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Nursing License is required.
• Experience in pulmonary care or respiratory therapy in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• This position involves standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Plan the shift’s services, programs and activities with staff.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the shift activities; admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide leadership to nursing personnel.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel to ensure nursing services meet residents’ needs.
• Monitor staff to ensure safety in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
