Job summary
Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an experienced RN for our Medical Pulmonary Unit on a day shift. This per diem Level 1 role requires 48 hours every 6 weeks, with at least 24 weekend hours if needed.
You will perform patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team. A current IL RN license, ADN or BSN, and AHA CPR are required. Benefits include premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and retirement options.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing or BSN from an accredited program.
- Current IL nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient assessment and data collection.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure safe, timely interventions.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams.
- Educate patients and families based on assessment needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain nursing practice knowledge according to current standards.
