Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT seeks an RN for a Clinical Expanded Role serving as a specialty service line leader. You will identify, coordinate, and evaluate projects in your area, provide clinical expertise, education, and research, and act as a change agent within the hospital.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
• BSN from an accredited institution; BSN must be completed within four years of hire.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers; ACLS/PALS as required.
• One year of clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability.
• Ability to coordinate care and work with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in specialty areas; participates in clinical programs and policy development; supports standardization of care protocols.
• Educate and mentor nursing staff and other healthcare professionals on best practices and new developments in the specialty area.
• Represents department on committees and works with healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Promotes evidence-based practices into clinical care, staying current with research in the specialty area.
• Directs and coordinates care team; manages time, supplies, and resources.
