Job summary

Prestige Care Center Of Plattsmouth is seeking a Pulmonary Care Coordinator to lead and support our facility's pulmonary program through clinical excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, education, and strong communication.

The role focuses on performing pulmonary assessments, monitoring respiratory status, developing care plans, and serving as a primary pulmonary resource for the team, with leadership responsibilities in program development and staff coaching.

Qualifications

• RRT license in good standing required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care.
• Leadership, supervisory, or program development experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete pulmonary assessments and evaluations for residents enrolled in the pulmonary program
• Monitor respiratory status and identify changes in condition requiring intervention
• Develop, implement, and update individualized pulmonary care plans
• Coordinate respiratory interventions
• Serve as a primary pulmonary resource and communication leader for the facility
• Provide ongoing education, coaching, and support to nursing staff, therapy staff, and respiratory personnel
