Job summary

MUSC seeks a General Pulmonary nurse coordinator to help lead the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine. The role focuses on building relationships with team members and patients to improve clinic efficiency, education, community outreach, and research to improve outcomes.

The General Pulmonary nurse coordinator will participate as an expert practitioner in a variety of direct and indirect patient care activities that will enhance the overall quality of clinical care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Three (3) years of related nursing experience.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of clinic, referrals, and scheduling to ensure efficient access.
• Primary role in coordination of care for general pulmonary patients.
• Develop education resources for patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with marketing to enhance outreach and community engagement.
