The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine seeks a nurse coordinator to advance clinic efficiency, education, community outreach, and research, partnering with physicians and staff to improve patient outcomes.

As the General Pulmonary nurse coordinator, you will engage in direct and indirect patient care, coordinate referrals, manage testing schedules, and support standardized care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Three (3) years of related nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new patient referrals and clinic scheduling to ensure efficient access and appropriate providers.
• Lead care coordination for general pulmonary patients including referrals, follow-ups, and hospital visits.
• Develop patient education resources and highlight clinical research portfolio; identify patients for trials.
• Collaborate with MUSC marketing for outreach across state and region.
