Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Area Business Manager for Pulmonary in Lexington, KY to engage pulmonologists and drive asthma product goals across an assigned geography. The ABM will present clinically focused selling messages and develop relationships with key customers in a compliant manner.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales, ability to travel, and a proven track record in complex markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience.
• Ability to travel to meetings/trainings as necessary.
• Proven success in complex markets with diverse customer segments while adhering to compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engage Pulmonary customers within assigned territory and deliver clinically focused messages to grow brand-share and revenue.
• Collaborate with field-based stakeholders and cross-functional teams to address customer needs and drive territory success.
• Develop relationships with pulmonary experts and health care staff to support product uptake.
• Identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to generate product utilization in the territory.
• Plan and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
• Maximize the budget to support strategies and tactics and drive business growth.
• Participate in industry meetings and conferences to support sales efforts.
• Own business opportunities within the geography, targeting large group practices and key customers.
• Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive customer value.
