Wilsonart is hiring for an entry-level manufacturing position in Temple, Texas. The role involves assisting in various department tasks, inspecting laminate products, preparing materials for packing, and maintaining a safe, efficient work area.

No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. This role emphasizes physical stamina, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum / No Experience.
• Physical requirements: Continuous physical exertion, lifting heavy weight (>50 lbs).
• Environment: Indoor with dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises, bright lights.

Responsibilities

• Inspect laminate and laminate panels.
• Flip laminate and laminate panels.
• Make boxes for packing kits.
• Set up tables, pallets and skids for inspection and packing process.
• Band pallets.
• Operate lifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Move inspected material to staging area.
• Basic computer skills.

Job Description

Assists area in any jobs the department needs assistance in. Performs other tasks as required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect laminate & laminate panels
• Flip laminate & laminate panels.
• Make boxes for packing kits
• Set up tables, pallets and skids for inspection & packing process
• Band pallets
• Operate lifts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Move inspected material to staging area
• Basic computer skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And ABILITIES

• Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area,
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure (to 16th).

WORKING CONDITIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (>50 lbs) Examples: grounds staff and EMS

ENVIRONMENT: Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers and food service workers
