General Shale, Inc. is seeking a Pugmill Machine Operator at our Moncure, North Carolina facility to support brick and masonry production. You will operate the pugmill and brick machine, monitor tooling, perform quality checks, and coordinate with maintenance and production teams to keep lines moving.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read, write, and understand work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing or industrial equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Mill Room’s pugmill and brick machine.
• Configure product tooling and oversee pugmill changeovers.
• Perform routine product quality checks throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production personnel during downtime or troubleshooting events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
