North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is recruiting in the Puget Sound area for a Construction Sales role. The position focuses on developing new accounts and supporting existing customers, with responsibility for pricing, quotes, and market intelligence.

A strong sales background in lighting or related gear, plus excellent organizational skills, is required. Applicants should have a valid driving record and be comfortable using mobile and laptop tools.

Qualifications

• Construction sales experience required or 2–3 years in related trade.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Experience with lighting/gear quotations preferred.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in 3–5 years.
• Comfort using smartphone and laptop.
• Customer-focused team player with proactive mindset.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, and goal-oriented.
• Effective time management and obstacle-turning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and support existing Puget Sound market accounts.
• Grow market share for assigned and new accounts.
• Manage pricing and vendor contracts.
• Generate quotations and provide market intelligence for projects.
• Promote North Coast market-specific initiatives.
• Leverage NCE resources and specialists (solar, energy, etc.).
• Create and implement business plans with key vendors/customers with goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
