Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a motivated sales professional to develop and manage accounts in the Puget Sound market. You will handle pricing, quotations, and vendor contracts, leveraging specialists to grow market share and drive strategic plans.

The role requires 2–3 years in construction sales, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused, team-driven attitude. Exempt position with base pay plus commission, located on-site in the Puget Sound area.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of construction sales experience.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Experience in lighting or gear quotations is preferred.
• Proof of a clean driving record within the last 3–5 years.
• Able to use a smartphone and laptop efficiently.
• Customer-focused and a team player.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and support existing accounts in the Puget Sound Market.
• Manage and grow market share of existing, assigned, and new accounts.
• Manage customer pricing and vendor contracts.
• Generate quotations and provide tracking and market intelligence.
• Promote North Coast market-specific initiatives.
• Collaborate with NCE resources and specialists as needed.
• Create and implement an NCE-specific business plan with vendors/customers.
