About The Role

The Publishing Director role is a key strategic role within the Springer publishing programme, with responsibility for creating strategic plans to grow and develop a global portfolio of journals, and for driving plans forward by leading, managing and nurturing a team of individuals. It is ideal for those who thrive in leadership roles and are energised in working with others to move ideas into impactful initiatives.

This is a full-time role offered in either the New York or Philadelphia office. The locationstrategy supports the team structure and aligns with business needs.

• Leverage conflict management skills to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, address competing priorities, and foster productive collaboration within teams and across the business
• Partner with editors, editorial boards, societies, and the wider research community to strengthen Springer Nature's reputation as a trusted publishing partner and thought leader while expanding strategic networks and opportunities

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

US Annualized Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000. This role is eligible for an annual performance-related bonus plan. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level, and equity. The US salary range does not align with the salary ranges in other countries when converted to the currency of that country.
