Job summary

Tyndale, a Christian publisher with a long-standing mission, seeks an Design & Illustration Intern to contribute illustration and design skills for illustrated books for kids and adults. You will collaborate with design, acquisitions, marketing, typesetting, and production teams, and will present your portfolio to art directors for feedback.

Qualifications

• Undergrad coursework in arts/illustration or related field; junior/senior preferred.
• Illustration skills in traditional or digital formats.
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills; basic InDesign knowledge required.
• Must enjoy daily feedback in collaborative environment.
• Able to work independently to complete tasks.
• Portfolio must be submitted with application.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm illustration concepts and develop artwork for books for kids and adults.
• Design social media projects, Bible designs, and book covers.
• Collaborate with creative team to develop strong concepts for new products.
