Job summary

Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. is seeking an Editorial Intern to gain hands-on experience ensuring clarity and accuracy of Christian books.

You will work with experienced editors, develop copyediting and proofreading skills, and learn the publishing process from the inside, supporting authors and projects with editorial judgment. Interns should be college juniors or seniors, with excellent English and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Currently a college junior or senior exploring publishing as a career.
• Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to collaborate and manage details.
• Growing editorial judgment and basic computer proficiency.
• Foundational understanding of the Bible and evangelical Christian thought; align with our Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen clarity and accuracy by copyediting manuscripts, proofreading galleys, covers, and materials.
• Support editorial team with tasks that move projects toward completion.
• Apply editorial judgment to ensure high-quality, trustworthy content reaches readers.
