Job summary

Tyndale House Ministries is offering a Design & Illustration Intern position in Caroll Stream, Illinois. You will work with the Design Team to publish illustrated books for kids and adults, learning the publishing process from concept to finished product.

Excellent illustration and graphic design skills, plus portfolio submission, are required. The role requires a 40-hour on-site schedule in a Christian environment with feedback from art directors and production teams.

Qualifications

• Significant undergraduate coursework in fine arts, illustration or related design field (Junior or Senior preferred).
• Illustration skills in traditional or digital formats.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with minimal InDesign knowledge.
• Able to work in a collaborative environment with daily feedback.
• Capable of working independently to complete tasks.
• Must submit a portfolio with application.
• Personal alignment with Bible basics and Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm illustration concepts and develop creative direction for children’s and adult books.
• Design social media projects, Bible designs, and book covers.
• Collaborate with the team to develop strong concepts for new products.
