Job summary

Allied Global Marketing is seeking an Account Executive for our Publicity team in Orlando. You will support clients across travel, hospitality, entertainment, and lifestyle sectors, handling research, ideation, media outreach, and reporting from start to finish.

You will craft compelling media materials, identify story opportunities, secure coverage, and contribute to campaign strategy while developing account management skills in a fast-paced agency setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• 3+ years of agency, corporate communications, or in-house public relations experience.
• Demonstrated success in media pitching and securing meaningful placements.
• Strong local, regional, and national media and influencer relationships.
• Excellent writing, editing, and knowledge of AP Style.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned clients and build responsive relationships.
• Draft client meeting agendas and recaps, lead appropriate portions of meetings, and ensure follow-up on action items.
• Pitch and secure meaningful earned media placements with local, regional, and national outlets.
• Draft press releases, media alerts, pitches, and talking points.
• Deliver timely, accurate client reports and translate results into actionable insights.
• Coordinate with journalists, editors, and influencers across markets and manage deadlines.
