Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of publishing, editorial management, scholarly communication, research dissemination, and production operations.
• Editorial, production, and publication workflows for digital and print publication.
• Open science, public access requirements, and evolving trends in scholarly publishing.
• AI-enabled publishing technologies and their governance within editorial and production workflows.
• Ability to develop governance frameworks addressing quality, ethics, copyright, privacy, transparency, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, and oversees production of publications; manages office workflow and production schedules.
• Recruits, trains, and manages staff; provides leadership, mentoring, and staff development planning.
• Establishes and implements editorial and production policies, standards, and procedures; ensures compliance with ethics.
