Job summary

The City of Kenyon is seeking a Public Works Worker to support the operation, maintenance, repair and essential functions of the City’s streets, parks, swimming pool, wastewater treatment plant, and sewer systems. This role performs a range of manual and skilled tasks, operates equipment, and maintains public infrastructure and facilities to keep City services safe and functional.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Minnesota Class B Drivers License required.
• Minnesota Class D Wastewater License or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• Minnesota Certified Pool Operator License or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and repair of streets, parks, pool, wastewater plant, and sewer systems.
• Perform manual and skilled tasks and operate equipment.
• Maintain public infrastructure and facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
• Snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Wastewater system operations and pool maintenance.
