The City of Saint Paul Public Works Department is hiring an individual to perform advanced supervisory work planning, scheduling, assigning and supervising work involving the construction, and maintenance of streets alleys, curbs and sidewalks.
Expected Duties:
•Plan and schedule work creating work orders and detailing crew assignments, tasks, equipment, routes, and/or locations.
•Resolve the most complex problems and issues associated with the work.
•Align goals and work plans with department and City workplans and goals.
•Determine, implement, and schedule training and safety programs.
•Document employee performance, provide recommendations, participate in hiring processes, and address performance issues.
•Promote a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all staff members.
•Communicate effectively and respectfully with staff and community members, across diverse cultures and all backgrounds.
