Job summary

The City of Waverly is seeking a Public Works Maintenance Superintendent, a hands-on leadership role overseeing the daily operations of the City's Maintenance Department, including streets, utilities, parks, stormwater, public buildings and equipment. This position manages staff, budgets, and on-call emergencies.

Candidates should have strong leadership, public works and project management experience, with a CDL, Class D Water and Class SD Wastewater licenses, and at least six years in public

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage departmental budgets.
• Coordinate capital improvement projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies, including rotating on-call duties.
