Job summary

GrowthWise Search Partners is seeking a Project Manager (Construction / Public Works) to lead large-scale infrastructure projects across California, including canal interties, pump stations, and reservoir storage, from initiation to closeout.

You will oversee on-site leaders, supervisors and field crews, own project budgets, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with engineers, operations and permitting teams to keep work moving.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction public works / municipal projects.
• Expertise in overseeing budgets, job costs, projections and billings.
• Comfort using digital construction and project management tools.
• Willingness to travel throughout Central California.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgets and job costs; track projections and reporting.
• Plan labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources.
• Create detailed schedules with milestones and contingencies.
• Monitor progress, ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers on monthly progress billings.
• Manage permits and regulatory compliance.
