Responsibilities include installing, repairing gas and water piping, reading plans, using power tools, estimating costs, and participating in 24/7 standby rotations.

Qualifications

• One year of journey level plumbing experience.
• Plumbing trade courses may substitute part of the required experience.
• Ability to read plans and specifications for projects.

Responsibilities

• Participates in skilled plumbing tasks including gas and water piping and fixtures.
• Cuts and threads pipe; fabricates joints, fittings and fixtures.
• Assists in reviewing plans and project specs.
• Operates power tools such as Pro Press, cutter, threader, hydrojet, camera, locator.
• Assists in material takeoffs and project cost estimation.
• Trains and reviews the work performance of subordinate employees.
• Estimates costs and charges materials and equipment.
• Ensures safety rules are followed.
• Performs preventative maintenance and timely repairs.
• Restores service quickly for customers.
