Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanic with repairing and servicing City vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as tightening bolts, replacing parts, cleaning components, and lubricating equipment.
• Assist with scheduled and preventative maintenance activities.
• Use hand and power tools under supervision.
• Document maintenance and repair work as directed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
