The City of Dallas is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to support street and drainage maintenance, public grounds and facilities. It includes operating equipment, preventive maintenance tasks, and ensuring safe, clean public spaces on a site-based schedule.

Candidates should have 2 years of maintenance experience and a Texas Driver's License. CDL P may be required; the salary range listed below applies to this position.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing maintenance and labor tasks.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record.
• CDL P (Permit) may be required during tenure; proof of hours may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Performs cleaning, maintenance and repair of streets, drains, and facilities.
• Operates equipment for maintenance tasks and preventive care.
• Loads and unloads tools and materials; drives equipment as needed.
• Sets up safety devices, barricades, cones to protect crew and public.
• Digs trenches, maintains grounds, and assists in landscaping tasks.
• Ensures safety and disposal guidelines are followed.
