Job summary

The City of North Richland Hills is seeking a dedicated employee to support the construction and maintenance of city infrastructure. The role involves operating heavy and light equipment, and constructing water, wastewater and storm drain lines.

You will repair asphalt and concrete roads, maintain water and sewer lines, and service equipment such as backhoes, pickups and dump trucks while interacting with other City staff and citizens. Mon-Fri 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; stand-by may be required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment to support City infrastructure.
• Construct water, wastewater and storm drain lines.
• Repair asphalt and concrete roads and maintain water and sewer lines.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as backhoes, pickups and dump trucks.
• Interact with City employees and citizens.
