The City of Williamsburg’s Landscape Division is seeking candidates for the Municipal Service Worker I position. This full-time role performs municipal maintenance with manual labor and equipment operation in public works areas.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED or six months of heavy manual labor experience, and must obtain a Virginia Class B CDL within 18 months. A valid Virginia driver’s license and background checks are required; the position offers a competitive benefits

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or
• Six (6) months of experience performing heavy manual labor or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of municipal maintenance activities involving manual labor with equipment operation in public works/public utilities areas.
• Perform semi-skilled work requiring some training and experience.
