Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computer-based technologies including IPS databases, workflows, ticket systems, email and spreadsheets.
• Understanding municipal operations and alignment with City objectives.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections of property to ensure compliance with City of Syracuse ordinances.
• Investigates complaints and violations of health and sanitation codes.
• Prepares inspection reports; documents violations with photos when needed.
• Notifies owners of violations and follows up to ensure compliance; applies penalties as required.
