Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Education required.
• New Mexico Class A driver's license required.
• One year experience in refuse collection pickup or heavy equipment operations required.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and irregular schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operates both heavy and light equipment.
• Drives a garbage truck or grapple truck as needed.
• Drives a flatbed truck to pick up bear mess.
• Completes equipment inspections and checklists.
• Maintains vehicles, trucks and grounds.
• Assists with labor type duties and safety training.
